I did it! biggrin.gif

I had my concerns about this run this week (especially as bad weather had been predicted) but I have just had a very enjoyable day. My final time was 04:05:18 which I am very pleased with considering the weather (wind!) and the hills involved. It was almost entirely off road but I really enjoyed it. There were home made cakes for runners at the checkpoints (i had choc brownie) plus soup and various other cakes at the finish. I was lucky enough to find another solo lady called Helen and we ran the entire route together. In fact as usual I spent most of the route talking so time just flew by (no change there...)

I would highly recommend this race to anyone- either as marathon training or just a run with a difference. It was very well organise for such a small event and they have walkers taking part too.

I am full of spirit and I am not that tired (yet.....)

I think i may just finish the marathon!

4 hours + on your feet is a great training run for London and 21 mile off road is much tougher than tarmac !!!!!aww.gif
