Water bottle belts/Camelbacks?

Hi There

Wondered if anyone can help?  As I increase my weekend mileage for my marathon training I am finding I need to carry a little more fluid than my little hand held water bottle and eventually I will need somewhere to stick some gels or haribo etc, can anyone suggest or recommend a good water bottle belt/hydration pack?

I'm thinking one that has limited bouce/rattle or annoying factor??

Any advice greatly appreciated smile

Hi the camelback s are very good and a well fitting one won't rattle around or annoy ! They carry up to 2 litres which is a bit too heavy to carry but they also have space for your fizzy haribo lol excellent choice for long run fuel !! :))

I got one from DW sports, £14.99 early this year. Its their own brand, 'MIFIT' but does the job perfectly. Plenty of pockets and pouches and holds 2 litres, anymore than that and youll find they get too heavy. Its like all running gear, if you want the named stuff youre gonna pay more but to me theres no point. Youll use it for marathon training a couple of months a year and thats it.

Hope thats some help

Cheers

John

Hi

Thanks for that guys, I'll take a look in DW sports this weekend and see what I can find.  I know some gear can be silly price!

I am definately up for the Saturday morning run Jo I will keep my eyes peeled for the posts, I have an appointment in Warrington this saturday morning so I am getting dropped off and running back to St Helens, best way to fit 12 miles in this week. smile....did 10 miles last sunday with Jen so I will hopefully be up to the same mileage.

Cheers!!
