As an appointed (unpaid) social secretary,,maybe we can have a lads day out?? We can support local sports,, plus it has beer as well,, i think that there is cricket match on as well) Ruskin beer festival 11aug,, i shall post more info as i get it)

                                                                                             Real ale drinkers and sports fans alike will be bowled over at the inaugural Ruskin Beer Festival                      being held on Friday 10th and Saturday 11th August.                                                                    A new fixture in the summer calendar at Ruskin, the event will bring together the local community                      through food, live music, sport and real ale.                                                                          Starting at 5pm on the Friday the event will kick off the weekend and the Saturday will run from 1pm                   through to 11pm. 20 real ales and ciders will be on offer and the Friday night will have live                          entertainment with Saturday coinciding with local sporting fixtures.                                                   Entry to the event is free and Ruskin is working with St Helens Autism Support to raise funds through                  barrel sponsorship.                                                                                                    Diane Palfrey, event organiser said Were lucky enough at Ruskin to be able to put on an event that                   brings real ale and live music together with live local sport. Weve picked this weekend to coincide                   with St Helens Town Cricket, Pilkington Recs & Pilkington FC fixtures so whether somebodys a real ale                connoisseur, sports fan or just looking for a pleasant weekend, were hoping the Beer Festival will                    have something for everybody. even frank!!!!

"ladies" r welcome but U need a beard and a belly for beer festival's,, so that rules out "nearly" half the strider chicks,, (oh dear) Hahahaha

Do not 4get This free-ish event guys,, if u need to "wags" permission betta asking early,, tell them its a free cricket match,, do NOT say these words in any order "festival a its beer"

Maybe we get down and do the park run?? Get a load of striders down there,, its a nice 3 mile run plenty of hills,, burn of half a pint)
