I am looking at taking part in a park run event on Saturday- these are free local 5km runs. Our nearest is Pennington flash and prince park Liverpool. You do have to register in advance as it works but barcode (v fancy!).
Anyone up for it? I don't mind which one. They both start at 9am

I really enjoy these. I was thinking about going this weekend as well. I'll probably come last but it's a start and something I can base any improvements on. Let me know which one you prefer and I might see you there. x

I'd really love to race tomorrow but I don't want to risk any further injury to my achilles
I have registered though, so hopefully I'll be doing one in the near future *fingers firmly crossed*
Have a great run everyone

New to the Striders but thought I'd post up after bumping into some friendly faces after the Pennington Flash 5k. Thanks for the natter and if I can work a routine to fit a run with you guys as well as my mountain biking, I certainly will. Cheers Carlos
Hi Carlos- good to hear from you! As we said before, we run every Monday and Wednesday at 7pm from Central Fitness in St Helens. We also regularly run at the weekend and quite often take part in races together. Runcorn Bridge will be a good one and I have just entered the Belle Vue Ormskirk 10km which is on the 31st March. You will catch the running bug soon enough
