Had a real bad pain in my very upper thigh area since last Monday so I've rested it as much as possible. After this morning it is really bad and now I can only walk like a hop along. Not a great look!
Reading through my book it looks like adductor tendinopathy. Got 2 weeks to get it sorted for the big day. I do hope it can be fixed. Never had this pain before so I bought it would just go away after a weeks rest hoping I'd just pulled a muscle or something.
Thats great I really hope she can help. im seeing her wednesday for some advice about the pain I keep getting in me foot after 10-11 miles, doesn't happen on any other run, and I know its gonna happen marathon day!! i think we are all just really needing the day to get here now!
.p.s had an ultimate curry on the curry mile in rushholme , Manchester last night!

Ooooh no, painful....the tendonitis is usually an overuse injury though its possible but rarely caused by force contraction (as in your yoga move as you described it) unless its been giving you trouble for a while...its likely a strain in one of the adductors. Whichever, treatment is similar anyways and is R.I.C.E..rest, ice, compression, elevation until I see you and hopefully it should be on the mend and ready for massage...if youre in a lot of pain walking you should probably use a crutch and try to keep off it as much as possible so it can heal...swimming will aggravate it too so please try complete rest.
