Completed this today in 42.38 in 22nd pos. Very tough, lots of hill climbing. Mini race for really young ones and a junior race for older kids.

My daughter completed the junior race which was full of sutton atheletes.

I would recommend it to all and a great intro to running for any young would-be Striders.

Thanks Jo,

She enjoyed it in the same way we enjoy Chorley if you know what I mean. Extremely nervous to start with, exhausted during, legs like jelly afterwards but her first ever medal. All competitors got a medal.

Her next target is StHelens 10k.

There could soon be another Smee in the Striders ranks.
