Without more info I cant say what it is but if you are increasing your mileage it could be shin splints if you are increasing your mileage ? which is very treatable.....
If you have any swelling or inflammation aound the area, use ice cubes for 10 minutes every few hours for the next few days and try to alternate a high impact day with a low impact or long/short runs..and make sure you are getting adequate rest days.
