Travel to the Wrexham Half Marathon- sunday-!

Hi all

Just wondered what we were going to do on sunday re travel? I know there is gary, myself and April taking part. Are there any other striders running? Shall we meet at the game bird, say 9am? is that too early or too late? Think race starts at 11am.

Hi Rach I'm going too. 9am is fine for me.

David is coming to give us all some support, but he's in his work van so there is only room for one more if anyone wants to jump in?

Hi Rach,
I am not going to be doing the Wrexham half now as

a) knee still feels a bit creaky and think I need a bit more rest and I'd really like to be more rested before grindleford and

b) my youngest has just caught the chicken pox so am aiming to take her over to Anglesey on Sunday so that my folks can look after her for early part of next week while we go to work

So will put a separate post up in case anyone wants my number for this

Hope you have a good run (although seem to recall they may be a hangover involved!)

see you next week
Charley

Gary has suggested that we meet at the Copper Pot- fuither down the lancs, as they have started to clamp cars at the game bird!!

Where is the copper pot? Which way down the lancs, towards Windle Island?

No towards Liverpool. Go past game bird, over roundabout and it is the next right at traffic lights.
