I dont think we have any ultra runners in the club- but I am willing to be corrected! I think the marathon is the furthest the majority have ran. I know the MD of our company in France is an ultra runner and regularly goes out for runs morning and night in order to get fit for it. I am sure it takes a lot of training and dedictation!

Thanks Rach, i'm thinking of joining the striders in a few weeks time but  I may only be able to make a few sessions a month would that be ok

Yes that's fine- some members come to every session, others come vwhen they can. No pressure either way.
