I have had an email off a guy called Emmett who saw you all on Sunday- well done! Mike- don't worry, you will be fine. It may take a little time, but it wont be as hard as it was for you to begin in the first place. Think we have all slowed down over Christmas anyway!

As Rach says we'll all have slowed down a bit since before Christmas. I hadnt run for a month up until last night when I met up with April. I was struggling to keep the pace up while April barely broke into a sweat. Managed 10 miles in the end.
The sooner you get back the sooner your fitness will come back.
Hope you all had a good Christmas and didnt have too many mince pies.... have to say I will be glad to get some normality back and get out running properly now the festivities are over!
The plan for tomorrow is just an easy run, to 'ease' us back into things. Hope to have a training plan in time for next monday.
I have spoken to Frank and we are suggesting Monday 17th January for the christmas handicap. Appreciate that this won't suit everyone, but with enough warning I hope the majority can make it.
Thanks
Rach
