Leave of absence extension

I couldn't resist running on holiday last week when I should have rested my knee. It has not reacted well and I now need to let it settle down for some weeks  so I need my leave of absence extending. Cycling seems to be ok  and I am getting some details together for the C2C for some of you.

Good to see you all actively running. I hope to see you soon.

Well done Alan with your 1st marathon.

Brian M

unfortunately I have to take a leave of absence indefinitely, I have my letter to excuse me from the physio.
When asking if I will be running my marathon in 20 weeks, the reply was to laugh in my face, so I take that as a no!!??

I am about to suggest a date for the yorkshire peaks, but unfortunately I will have to hand the event to someone else as I am currently only allowed to walk in straight line, on a flat surface and with no undulations!! The event suggestion will be raised when I send the minutes out from the AGM.

I might be allowed to ride a stationary bike with low gears!! (inspired.........not) May as well be sat in an armchair.

I will try and come down next handicap to catch up and show some support, hopefully cram tags will have arrived.

If there are any new members I need to catch up with, please share my email and  I can make contact.

really sorry to hear that you are having problems with your running again and I hope the physio can sort it out quickly. After your sucessfull the Riga run I know you were looking forward to Venice.

I will talk to you about the Yorkshire 3 Peaks Walk dates and put something together.

Keep your spirits up and don't drink too many.

see you soon,  Brian M
