Very good race today and an excellent turn out from the lady members. I have been lookin for official results online but dont think they are up yet. However, Claire led the strider pack well and finished in an amazing 3rd position! we think Jo finished around 8th too and PBS for her and Nick. Also good strong run from Carol to finish comfortably under 50mins . Wll confirm everything else when I see the results. Looked like a nice course- flat, good weather and a nice small field.
but commendable that you try to run with a broken foot!!! Carol has seen the results from croxteth and i was 6th, if i had entered on me own name i would have got 1st prize in my category!! dam!! did 17 miler yesterday so that why i didnt come down wed. had an interview in the a.m so took the affy off to run off the stress. anyway......I got the job!!! so overall it was a very successful day!
