Anyone fancies a nice 5 mile blast on Sunday ?? I have already entered but you can enter on the day. The run finishes in Hale village, but there is baggage van departing at 9.15, as I am expecting to get wet.
Nice one John- should be a good race for you to do for your first. Dont think I am going to do it,, quite tired after todays effort (20 miles at 8am after going out last night, but i only had 3 drinks!!)

hi John, They said that last year but it did not close, they delayed the race by 15 mins. 800am should be fine but if you want to get there early will met you at the car park where you register. Nick will see us there..
Absolutely freezing at the start, cold wind too. Once going I soon warmed up. Great little race, no delay (this time), well organised.
Danny and Gary went off with turbo chargers switched on full boost, not sure of their times. I was trying to beat 45mins to start with but doing 8 minute miles I shifted my target to 40 mins. On my watch I managed it, not sure of official time though.
Definitely got the race bug now. Bring on the 10k's and the 1/2M's.
Wont be running Monday, family gathering, so see you all Wednesday, I'll be the saddo bouncing up and down like tigger, full of enthusiasm, I know its only a 5 miler but I really enjoyed it.
