Anyone fancies a nice 5 mile blast on Sunday ?? I have already entered but you can enter on the day.
The run finishes in Hale village, but there is baggage van departing at 9.15, as I am expecting to get wet.

was thinking 8.00am at waterside, can you post if interested.

I'm thinking about entering this Carol, I'd have to be there before half 8 as I haven't entered yet.

Will also have to see how I feel after a 20miler tomorrow

I have a pass out so I will be there. My first race. Sunday is supposed to be the best day out of the Bank Holiday weekend so we may not get wet.

See you at 8 then.

I think Id better leave earlier as Im going to enter on the day too. Late entries close at 8:30.

Where do you suggest for meeting up for a pre-race team photo. Are there any obvious places we can meet up. Let us know.

They said that last year but it did not close, they delayed the race by 15 mins.

Brilliant. Loved it.

Absolutely freezing at the start, cold wind too. Once going I soon warmed up. Great little race, no delay (this time), well organised.

Danny and Gary went off with turbo chargers switched on full boost, not sure of their  times. I was trying to beat 45mins to start with but doing 8 minute miles I shifted my target to 40 mins. On my watch I managed it, not sure of official time though.

Definitely got the race bug now. Bring on the 10k's and the 1/2M's.

Wont be running Monday, family gathering, so see you all Wednesday, I'll be the saddo  bouncing up and down like tigger, full of enthusiasm, I know its only a 5 miler but I really enjoyed it.

See you all Wednesday

John

Gary

Glad to see you've gone back to using your real name.

Gart Carnie is just not you. Maybe if you make it in Hollywood you can use Gart again.

biggrin

See you later

John
