hi everyone hello from bratislava! having a great time here, beer is 1.50 euro a pint so the guys are really pleased. wine is similar price so that keeps me happy! hostel is good, with free wifi and good selection of beers! we have been to a traditional slovak restaurant tonight (lots of fried food) and been to a few bars, weather is great- nice and sunny- t shirt weather! enjoy training tomorrow, we will be back with you on wed. our results are up on the bratislava half marathon website but they are quoting gun times and not chip times so all our times are out... and longer!!!

Hi all!! great to hear your all having fun!! We had a great run at Liverpool, altho the headwind over the last 3 mile really shaved MINUTES of all our times!!! i finished it faster than last yr in 1.48.28, ( still not beat me 1.46.39 from the previous yr!!) but i felt much stronger all thro and beat me 9 and 10 and 11 mile times too, so all the training is paying off thank god!! Nick had an excellent debut!! 2.05 and Shaun and Ian did really ridiculously fast times!! not sure exactly but im sure they will post. lots for the newsletter Rach, and Nick took a before pic altho we couldnt see ian at the start so only the 3 of us. Im not coming club 2nite as im off work today so gonna do some recovery work in the gym instead, see you all wed!

Well done on your times I finished the same as last year with 1.26, a bit disappointed but the wind was difficult over the last 3miles. I saw Ian at the end and I think he said he was about 1.37?
I'm going to have a rest day today, but I've managed to get a Wednesday night off so I'll see you all for the handicapp

Frank, Gary did 1.57 for his 17 miles!! amazing time when you look at mine over just 13! Nick, we had chinese too and i enjoyed a nice bottle of wine!! thanks again for the lift, much appreciated!! I wont be down to club either tonite, went the gym before but me legs are still tired. Frank is the handicap finishing at waterside too?? i myt meet you there if it is.
