Good luck to all runners who are running this weekend:smile.gif

Colin, Carol and Joanne are all running the GNR in Newcastle- everyone look out for their red vests on tv!!

Gary (and I think Chris) are taking part in the Langdale Marathon and half respectively. The langdale marathon is the hardest road marathon in the world- but Gary will have some comfort as all monies raised go to Willowbrook Hospice.

Can't wait to hear everyones stories next week- and don't forget our curry night on the Wednesday biggrin.gif

hope u have a good run
I will be looking out for the Striders vest on or around the start dependiing on your zone start hope to see you there

I loved the GNR, this was my first half, the atmosphere was brill. Loved the crowd including the ice pops and jelly babies. Finished in 1.54, hills wot hills !!

wel done Carol!! Rach txt me to say you had enjoyed it!! i saw you both at the start then as i went back to find you i think we had all moved down a bit!!!real shame Col's injury came back , I finished in 1.48.01 and managed to finish 4913th!!! have never been so chuffed with being so far form 1st!!! hahahah so glad you enjoyed it, it was my 5th and there really is no where else like it for atmosphere!! i'm afraid i will have to go back nxt yr try for me 1.45!! see you tonite x
