Hi All
need to set up mens and womans teams for the Manchester Universities cross country relays .
As ever the format 6 runners in each mens team . and 3 runners in each womens team. with race starting at 2pm and the womens at 2.05pm.
Saturday October 11th university playing fields Willenhall Road Wythenshawe Manchester M23 OBD
the distance is 2 mile per person and is a good introduction to X/C running .
please reply so I can set up as many teams as possible. Striders have done this race before and it is a fun team event.
Thanks All
Les A

I did the 10k run today , very warm and sunny, couldnt
beat the Kenyans. My time was 40-41, had to work hard for it.
See you next week. Take care John.

I was first leg in this race in 2003, at the start 500 students had covered 200 yards and vanished around the corner before I'd even done 10 yards. Most crushing of all was hearing one of the spectators comment "Oh look, someone's brought their grand dad"

Spikes if possible but trainers with the most tread on will do .

may have spare x/c trainers if I can find spikes
