Chris was telling me about the helsby half and i have just been online to enter and the race is full., my fault for leaving it so long i think. does anyone know of any other decent half marathon type length races before the london? i know there is the wilmslow half but that is the week before the liverpool one so dont want to burn myself out. thanks

Yes i saw that blackpool half, its the week before the liverpool though so i was in two minds about. I have found a run in sheffield i can do when i visit jason- the grindleford 21! its 5 weeks before the london so could be good for practising the distance. It is only £10 to enter aswell,
I didn't wear a watch to get my time, I used a mini sundial sadly the run didn't do my sore throat/cold any favours, hoping to bring my stash of race forms down on monday.
