As you may be aware Central Fitness has closed (today) and so we can no longer use the facility to meet up. So, from Monday 15th July 2013, St Helens Striders will start to meet at the Beacon Centre on College Street. This is just round the corner, opposite the Police Station.
For the first night, I believe the plan is to meet outside Central Fitness and walk around to make sure we catch any who may be unaware. But you can go straight there if you wish.
The meeting point will be in the Coffee Shop area to the right as you walk through the main entrance. We will all still need to sign in and out at Reception for fire safety purposes.
Toilet facilities are just opposite the coffee shop, and if you need to use the changing facilities you will have to ask Reception to buzz you through. If you leave belongings there, this is at your own risk, so please try not to bring any valuables, but the staff have indicated that they can lock areas if we need to. Please do not ask staff to take responsibility for your belongings e.g keys or money.
Finally, as a courtesy to staff can we make sure we let them know when the last strider has left the building (as you sign out). The building closes at 9pm and so will be closed up if you do not return for any belongings before then.
