Hi everyone

As most of you know this weekends 10km has been organised by Steve Prescott to support the charities dearest to him in his battle with cancer. Steve is also taking part in a challenge during April where he will run the Paris marathon, cycle to the English Channel, Kayak across it and then run the London Marathon on 22nd April. I was wondering whether we could support Steve in his challenge by sponsoring him as a club? If everyone gave a couple of quid, then we would very quickly have £100 or even more. It would be nice if we could openly support him as a local running club. He is a very brave man, with a strong positive mental attitude towards his illness.

I will be happy to arrange for a collection if anyone is in agreement? Look after the pennies and the pounds will look after themselves... I will also send an email out.

yep!! us 2, when there are days I dont wanna get out running or training I justthink whta that guy must feel like and he just does it! good idea xx
