In relation to what happened on Wednesday night, the Star newspaper has covered it here:

Apparently he was running and had NO ID on him.

Please ensure that you look after yourself both when running in a group or on your own- there needs to be a means of identification on everyone. I think most of us have been given cram tags. If you want another one I am sure we can get some ordered in time for subs this year.

He wasnt out wiht us, but was running along the same route shortly before we did by Carmel College. The police had already been alerted by that point but there was obviously delay because they couldnt identify him and had no emergency details to ring
