Just a note to any of our Striders who are training for a half or full marathon and are not familiar with the runners world smart coach website.
It was recommended to me by fellow Strider, Gary Carney and I would recommend it too. You enter a recent race time for say a 5k or 10k that youve done , how many miles training you do a week at the moment and select easy/moderate /hard plan, it then works out a 16 week proramme and tells you what pace you should be running your speedwork, long runs and tempo runs at each week, gradually pushing you a bit faster over time.
Give it look and see if your training hard enough or maybe too hard.
