Hi all- I have kept this fairly quiet, but I have received an email today from Lloyds Commerical bank that suggests my nomination to become an Olympic torch bearer has been accepted. I was nominated by the Marketing Manager at work as we bank with lloyds and they have some spaces on the route. Anyway, needless to say I am delighted! I am waiting for another email so I can confirm my ID, but looks like its a go- ahead :)

 

I hope I can wear my Striders vest??? At least the banners will come in handy!
