OK, i've been going mad trying to figure out what's gone so wrong in the last 3-4 weeks to give me so much torture!
I have been thinking, the only thing it could be, was putting my trainers in the washing machine. I know you're not meant to, but after hell runner in september i didn't really have a choice, then i washed them again after the halloween run in wigan. So that was once in september and once in October. The pain has been getting gradually worse during November.
Would it be worth getting the exact same pair of shoes or go into a shop to go on the treadmill/gait analysis thingy? Could machine washing them cause so much damage??
We wash our trainers with the shower nozzle,, then pack newspaper inside (changing it every hour or so) dont wash them in a machine(
dw has a free gait machine,, worth a go just to see what type of shoe u require,, although with trail runners it maybe slightly different as they are more rigid,, but someone much clever-erer than me will no doubt correct me,, ) dont forget jenny your at the end of a tough year,, 1/2 marathon,,full marathon and hellrunner,, and dodgy kareoke!! etc etc ,,,,,may have taken its toll,, and you could be just knackered lols!!!!
