Hi all

As a StHelens running club I would suggest the race below is a must for all us Striders. It has already been mentioned by a few people at the club.

It is on our door step, its a 10k which means all of us including 'newbies' will have time to train/prepare for it etc and most of all its for a good cause.

I for one will be proud to take part and support Steve Prescotts charity, I hope you can do the same.

Hi John
I have found this group on facebook and have pledged our support. Definately think it is a race for all to be involved in! After all, no-one knows vicky park better than we do!

I have posted the link to our facebook page so you can join the group there, otherwise it appears the live site will be launched on the 10th Jan.

Hi John,

I am very pleased that St Helens is able to stage a 10k run and I would like to enter it.

I am not able to come to training tomorrow as I have to work late but will be there on Wednesday.

Im in!!! and i think we will have good turn out for this, Sharon it is a fantastic race for you to aim for , and very manageable for you in the timescale if you work at it ,where better to do your first 10 k than in st helens! it will be a great achievement! see you wednesday .

Hi Can't wait to enter tomorrow. I have been for a run this morning and will do a run in the morning to make up for not coming to training on Monday. See on Wednesday.smile
