Wow! Im impressed that you are skipping the half marathon and going straight to the full! I wouldnt mind going out and doing some longer runs at the weekend- certainly up to 16/18 miles. Good training plans can be found on smart coach, on runners world- or of course here- in a forum full of marathon experts!

John every marathon starts with the first step you have taken the first step by entering so well done, best of luck and if you need any company on your long runs just let me know, I understand how you have to juggle your training around the family so early or late is good for me onlyalternate weekends though due to work commitments
yipeeeeeeeeeeeeeee!!! how much was it to enter??what date is it?????can you see where this is goin!!!!! you will get plenty long run support and if you need someone to help keep the pace slow.....there is ME!!!!!!
