Ive added some extras to the website, hopefully as an improvement.
If you go to the 'Races and Comps'-----'Road Runs'------'Strider Results', Ive put in a new column with a space if theres any photos of the race. Currently the Grindleford pics are there. Ive used a more 'hi-tech' way of displaying the photos. You may need to click on 'download flash player' which adds a small program to your pc to enable you to view them. Most pcs will already have this on so no need to do anything.
Ive also done the same with the 'Photo Gallery' page.
Please check it out and let me know what you think. I'd like to know if its causing problems for anyone. It maybe your steam powered computer needs upgrading, on the otherhand maybe Im being too geeky.
Please let me know before I go any further.

Had a look at the photos- really good idea! And it worked fine on my laptop Maybe going forward (for 2010 onwards) we can match photos to races so that they are easier to find. However, we still have hundres of photos from the past few years. Is it possible to put all those in one big album (titled golden oldies or something similar!) as it would be shame not to have access to those anymore? They could just be in the Photos section.
I will definately get lots of pictures for bratislava and im sure those doing the liverpool half will do the same

ive been able to view pics no prob. how do we access the members only section? and will we have passwords? what sorts of things do we want in members only? i would have thought this message board perhaps?

Jo Im begining to wonder if we need that option at all. It serves no purpose at the mo. I cant think that we need it for anything. Its like, we're going to invent a need for it when in actual fact we dont need it at all. We need non members to be able to ask questions and see that we are more than just a running club with pb's are only goal. Two separate message boards would make it look like we never use the public one, as we would probably use the private one all the time. Unless anyone can come up with something I suggest we 'bin it'. Maybe replace with 'latest news', what do we think ?

Ive added another 'improvement' to the site. Its on the home page. Its a latest news 'thingy', you can click the items that appear and it will take you directly to the parts of the website in question. Hopefully.
Just a note of caution, i usually do this website work late at night when everyone's in bed so I may make mistakes from time to time. Please dont be afraid to point them out, I wont be offended.
