Ive been working on a new club website with Rach over Christmas and one of the webpages is the attendance record and results. Im not sure yet if we are going to show the attendance record as we go along or if we should only show the results at the end of the year. If we are going to do it as we go along you wont be needing a spreadsheet because I'll be putting them on the web. It needs to be discussed with other Striders to see what we all think is best. If we need a spreadsheet I will do one.
I think spreadsheet is good idea for weekly monitoring, and then we can update website at certain intervals (e.g. every month?). We will need some sort of central collection point for the information, especially if the person collecting the data isnt available to run one night? Will discuss tonight!

Ive done a spreadsheet for attendance. I dont know eveyones full names, Ive got all the email addresses but its not always obvious who's who. I'll email it to you Rach, if you can complete the names on the list and forward it to Carol as Im not sure which email is Carol's. Not sure what version of Exel you and Carol have so Ive saved it down to exel 97. Could you also send it back to me as I need all the Strider members names for some of the webpages.

To fill it in each week just put a number 1 in the cell that corresponds to the date and the name of anyone who attended. The sheet then totals all the number ones for each person automatically.
thanks John, once I get it off Rach will start this years, after last nights turnout will be busy ! I will keep it updated, but may rely on others to let me know who turned up if I miss a session.
