Hi everyone

Believe it or not, Christmas is not far off and Dawn is going to organise our annual Christmas meal at the Abbey in St Helens. Proposed date is Wednesday 16th December, which will mean there will be no club run that night.

In her absence, I have included the menu for you to make your choices. Please can you return these to Dawn (email attached). Partners are more than welcome. We need to confirm numbers ASAP so we would appreciate a quick response!! (preferable by the end of next week). Price per person is £12.99- but we may say £14-15 each to include a tip as service is always pretty good there.

Appetisers
Winter vegetable Broth (v)- served with slices of baguette and butter
Classic Prawn ****tail- served with brown bread and butter
Provencal of Chestnut Mushroom topped with Toasted Parmesan (v)- with garlic slice to dip
Chicken Liver Pate- served with warm balsamic red onion

Main Meals
Prime Roast Norfolk Turkey- with all the trimmings
Herb crumbed Grilled Cod- over creamy mash, served with a tomato concasse, onion and mushroom veloute.
Pan Fried Chicken- with fresh herb mustard and pimento cream sauce
Butternut Squash Thai Curry and scented rice (v)- cooked with lemongrass, ginger, garlic, chillies, corriander, lime juice and coconut.
Roast loin of pork- topped with pancetta and black pudding roll served with a mild sweet chilli sauce.
