Chris and Jo just wanted to say best of luck for Sunday. The forecast is for a very hot day so lots and lots of fluid before during and after, make sure that you both enjoy the day. You have both trained very hard and I am certain that you will both achieve pbs as your reward Gary
Spoke to Joanne today and she said it was meant to be 24 degrees tmorrow! Hope you all have a good run, will be thinking about you and cant wait to hear your stories!! Rach
Hi All,I'm alive!!! I didnt get a PB i was 3 mins slower so finished in 4 hr 8 mins it was 27 degrees as i crossed the finish line at roughly 1 p.m! Brian did 3 hr 50 and had done 3 .23 last yr and no one seemed to be getting P'B's due to the heat! I did however run a PB or 2.59 for 20 mile then it sort of went downhill........rapido!!!! HAd a crackin weekend tho and ive just done a 6.5 mile easy recovery run so i think the extra training has paid off in me recovery cos i feel fine!!! had a crackin time tho, I lost chris's no. i deleted th txt you sent me Rach by mistake! So ive no idea how he did! Im off to Dominican on Sunday so wont see you all for a few week, Very best of luck at chorley 2moz, COME on STrider ladies!!! get us another win!!! thanks for the well wishes, see you all in a few weeks!! x
