We will be setting a date for the next club meeting in the next few weeks and there will be the oportunity to discuss some races and events we could do as a club. I have looked at races for the rest of the year and will put a longer list up on the notice board later this week. There are a few slightly different events to consider.
We should look at some non running, walking, and social events to include those who are not runners, injured or support the club in other ways.
There are some ideas already being considered. A long walk in Derbyshire across Kinder Scout. A walking treasure hunt around St Helens or Liverpool. Yorkshire 3 Three Peaks. Liverpool to Chester bike ride. Organise our own relay along a strech of the Leeds Liverpool canal. A challenge event. The next overseas event. Cains brewery.
We could use one of to events to support a charity.
